Note: Partiki currently does not provide end-to-end encryption for group content. Authorized services may process your data to deliver features like sync, search, and notifications.

You can manage many preferences directly in the app (e.g., notification settings, media permissions, and certain data controls). For account deletion or data export, use the in-app request tools (Profile → Settings → Privacy) or email privacy@partiki.com.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information, except where we're required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information when it's transferred internationally.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Where local law sets a higher age for consent (e.g., up to 16 in parts of the EU), we will apply the higher threshold.

10. Photos, Videos, and Media Content

When you share photos, videos, or other media content through Partiki:

• Group Sharing: Media you share in groups is visible to all group members
• Storage: We securely store your media content to enable sharing and viewing within your groups
• Metadata: We may collect technical information about media files (file size, format, creation date)
• Location Data: Photos may contain location information if your device settings allow it
• Control: You can delete media content you've shared through the app at any time

With your consent, the app may request access to device features such as Photos/Media/Files, Camera, Notifications, and Location (e.g., for sharing trip media or suggesting nearby places). You can change these permissions anytime in your device settings.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. 13. Security Incidents & Data Breach Notification

If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will investigate, take steps to mitigate harm, and notify affected users and/or regulators as required by applicable law. Where required (e.g., under GDPR), we will notify supervisory authorities without undue delay and, when feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of a notifiable breach.

14. Region-Specific Disclosures

California (CPRA)

California residents have rights to access, correct, delete, and receive a portable copy of certain personal information. You also have the right to opt-out of “sales” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising and to limit use of sensitive personal information (where applicable). We do not sell personal information for money. If we engage in “sharing” as defined by CPRA, you may opt-out via the in-app privacy controls or by emailing privacy@partiki.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

India (DPDP Act, 2023)

For users in India, you have rights to access, correction, and erasure, and to register grievances with our Grievance Officer. We act as a Data Fiduciary when determining purposes and means of processing. You may withdraw consent at any time via in-app controls where applicable. For grievances, contact support@partiki.com.

15. Third-Party Services & SDKs

We use trusted service providers to deliver our features. Depending on your usage, these may process limited personal data on our behalf:

• Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions) — authentication, data storage, serverless processing
• Mixpanel — product analytics and usage insights

These providers are bound by contracts and may only use data as needed to provide their services to us.
